Fidler renews historic private school roof in Kirkwood
Refurbishment work included clay tile, composition and flat roofing on a 28-acre campus.
Finished! We just wrapped up a months-long renewal project at Ursuline Academy in Kirkwood, Mo. The school, founded in 1848, has a campus more than a century old. Our work on multiple buildings across the 28-acre property included:
Temporarily removing Ludowici French clay tiles
Installing new waterproof underlayment
Reinstalling the original tiles
Installing new copper accessories, gutters and downspouts
Because not all the roof is tile, we also replaced aged composition roofing with Tamko Titan Class 3 shingles. In addition, we replaced a flat roof with a tapered insulation system and water-resistant TPO membrane. We appreciate the school's confidence in us and the efforts of our hardworking, talented team.
