Fidler replaces a 19th-century slate roof at St. Louis University

This tile roof has stood the test of time and we want to continue its legacy.

We're honored to be a part of historic preservation by re-roofing 135-year-old DuBourg Hall at Saint Louis University. We're partnering with Old World Roofing in replacing a worn slate roof with new tiles. The hall opened in 1888 and is home to several of the school's administrative and academic functions. The hall is a unique piece of history with two-foot-thick load bearing walls, cast-iron staircases and massive wood trusses. As you can imagine, this is a large and complex project with multiple stages. We anticipate finishing in the spring of 2024. We're thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this historic and unique project.
